The Book keeper isn't an old guy sitting in the back of a musty room with glasses perched on the end of his nose adding numbers at candle light.  In times past, this was "The book keeper".   Now, they are seen in the day light and provide a very important service to small businesses, whether freelance or direct hire.  The book keeper has a very important role with any company.   Freelance bookkeepers can earn from $25 to $50 per hour.  Employed bookkeepers earn an average of $15 to $20 per hour.
